THE ESSCA'S SOLIDARITY ASSOCIATION
The concept
The ASE was created in October 2018 on ESSCA's campus in Angers. Our objective has been to develop a movement that encompasses several humanitarian, social and environmental root causes and to engage in diverse and varied actions, within the budgetary and technical limits imposed on us.

The association therefore operates under project management. Each member is free to bring his idea, to have it validated by the members of the board and to set it up under the colours of the ASE. This mode of operation allows the association to be particularly flexible and modular. Thus, if a project, for any reason (technical constraints, lack of resources, geopolitical conflict...) must be abandoned, the entire project team can launch another one, or even join an existing project.
The team
When it was created, the ASE was composed of about twenty active members on the Angers campus. Four Aix-en-Provence-based women then joined the association in February 2019 and set up an ASE branch on ESSCA's Aix-en-Provence campus.

With the arrival of the 2024 promotion in September 2019, the association was able to start recruiting new members. Our objective was to integrate creative, ambitious, motivated and above all, sensitive students to causes that are important to us, such as reducing the carbon footprint, helping the most disadvantaged or preserving biodiversity. This beginning of 2019 will have allowed us to recruit 10 students on the Aix campus and 18 on the Angers campus (13 first year students and 5 second year students), all more motivated than the others!

Today, one year after its creation, the association has 54 members, 40 of whom are in Angers and 14 in Aix.
Our ambitions
Nowadays, already on two ESSCA's campuses, our objective would be, in a long term period, to be active on all six ESSCA campuses that exists in France. Indeed, we believe that our projects and values can be applied and disseminated to all students, regardless of their campus. We believe that the ASE is a way to bring ESSCA students together and create strong links around common projects.

So, if you are an ESSCA student present on Cholet, Lyon, Bordeaux or Paris and you want to set up a solidarity movement on your campus, do not hesitate to contact us on our social networks or by email, our team will be happy to answer you!
